THE GENESIS
Founded in 1911 in the famous watchmaker city, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland by the two talented Swiss watchmakers of their era Eugène Blum and Alice Levi-Blum, Mouvex watches became very popular in Paris and Switzerland.
CLOSING A CHAPTER
As the 20th century brought many challenges, the watchmakers had to make the hard decision of putting the efforts on the other watch brand the famous watchmakers had simultaneously created and managed, Ebel. This is why Movex would be placed in hibernation.
THE NEW LEGACY CHAPTER
After a long time of inactivity, Mouvex is gloriously back, combining its rich heritage, watchmaking know-how and Swiss Excellence with the modern approach. The family lead by Valentin Guidi, continues the brand’s legacy by embracing the heritage and continuing to use Swiss watchmaking know-how. After being relaunch as a Swiss microbrand, Mouvex 1911 has launched its first signature collection ‘Art Deco’ for the modern-day man.

THE ART DECO INSPIRED COLLECTION
The relaunch collection is inspired by the Art Deco to pay tribute to the microbrand’s heritage. The Avant-garde design used on the watches is a combination of square and round shapes, which illuminates the distinctive Art Deco forms in a versatile daily usage as well as high end-end occasions. The watch has been meticulously engraved on the case back with a unique pattern design and includes the product numbering details.
